News: Man arrested in connection to fatal pedestrian crash in Etobicoke

ETOBICOKE, ON – A man was arrested for his involvement in a fatal pedestrian crash that happened last Tuesday, Feb. 3.

The man was driving a vehicle when he struck the pedestrian in the area of Dundas Street W. and Acorn Avenue, according to CBC.

EMS rushed the 28-year-old male pedestrian to a hospital, where he later died.

Police confirmed the driver remained at the scene and arrested him. He is now being charged with the dangerous operation of a conveyance.

An investigation is underway. Members of the public are urged to contact the police if they have any more information about the crash.
