News: Man charged after Hwy. 401 collision that sent paramedics to hospital 

BOWMANVILLE, ON – A 67-year-old man was charged with reckless driving after causing a collision on Highway 401 that sent two paramedics to the hospital on Monday.

The 67-year-old man was driving a trash truck when he crashed into the ambulance occupied by the two paramedics, according to Toronto City News. The force of the collision propelled the ambulance forward, which then crashed into a fire truck.

The fire truck was responding to a separate rollover accident, police confirmed.

The physical conditions of the paramedics were not disclosed.
