News: Man critically hurt as car hits tree near U of T Scarborough

SCARBOROUGH, ON – A man in his 70s, who was the driver of his car and sole occupant, is in critical condition after colliding with a tree along U of T Scarborough Monday. 

Toronto Police Operations said in an X post that this collision happened after 8 a.m., and the man had no vital signs. 

EMS crews assisted officers in conducting closures to accommodate the routine scene clearance process. 

Police launched an investigation but have not specified the exact cause of this crash.
