News: Man fatally hit by semi-truck in North York 

NORTH YORK, ON – A man lost his life after he was struck by a semi-truck in the area of Jethro Road and Wilson Avenue on Wednesday.

According to CBC, Toronto police and EMS crews responded to the crash scene before 2 p.m. Upon arrival, officials found the man at a loading dock and declared him dead at the scene.

Police launched an investigation. While they have not revealed exactly how the crash unfolded, they said that the semi-truck was involved in some type of industrial accident.

Ontario’s Ministry of Labour was notified of the crash.

No additional information, including the victim’s age and reports of charges, has been publicly released at this time.
