NORTH YORK, ON – A man in his 30s was arrested for impaired driving following a crash involving a Toronto police officer on Tuesday.
According to Toronto City News, one driver had rear-ended a Toronto police cruiser in the area of Bathurst Street and Wilson Avenue. The collision occurred before 4:30 a.m. Additional details show that the police officer was investigating a separate, unrelated crash.
Officers arrested a man in his 30s, but did not confirm if he was the driver who rear-ended the police car or if he was involved in the other collision.
The officer sustained minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
