News: Man in 40s injured in plane crash near downtown Toronto 

NEAR DOWNTOWN TORONTO, ON – A man in his 40s was left with non-life-threatening injuries after a plane crash near Tommy Thompson Park Friday.

CBC said the collision happened before 2:45 p.m. near Leslie Street. Medics said the man declined medical treatment at the accident scene and made no mention of taking him to the hospital.

Toronto police confirmed that the man was the only occupant on board. Officers are continuing to investigate the exact cause of the plane crash.
