News: Man in 70s sent to hospital following Etobicoke pedestrian-vehicle crash  

ETOBICOKE, ON – A man in his 70s was sent to the hospital following a pedestrian-vehicle crash that took place in the Weston area on Thursday, CTV News said.

The man was walking in the area of Scarlett Road and Lawrence Avenue West when he was struck by a vehicle. First responders pulled up to the scene before 8 a.m. and rushed the man to a hospital for treatment of serious, non-life-threatening injuries.

Police confirmed the driver stayed at the scene, but did not say if they cited them or if they could face charges for their involvement in the collision.
