News: Man in critical condition after pedestrian crash in Brampton 

BRAMPTON, ON – A man was left in critical condition as a result of a pedestrian crash that happened along Norton Place Park on Thursday.

The man was struck by a vehicle while walking in the area of Dixie Road and Clark Boulevard, according to CTV News. Peel Regional Police and EMS crews responded to the scene after 1:30 a.m.

Ambulance personnel rushed the pedestrian to a trauma centre for treatment of serious, life-threatening injuries.

The driver stayed at the scene. At this time, police did not confirm if they cited the driver.

Officials shut down Dixie Road between Lisa Street and Clark Boulevard for the scene clean-up process and the investigation.
