News: Man in his 50s hospitalized after bicycle collision along UofT

TORONTO, ON – A man in his 50s was sent to a trauma centre following a bicycle collision that happened outside the University of Toronto before 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The man in his 50s was riding a bicycle in the area of Spadina Avenue and College Street when he was struck by a vehicle, according to CTV News. The impact of the crash left the cyclist with serious injuries.

After arriving, Toronto police shut down the intersection for the scene clearance process. Officers confirmed the driver remained at the scene and have not announced any charges at this time.
