TORONTO, ON – A man in his 50s was rushed to a hospital where he later died after a scooter collision that happened on Prince Edward Viaduct Thursday.
Police told CBC that the events unfolded around 9 a.m. when the man in his 50s lost control of his electric scooter while traveling on the eastbound lanes and crashed into Prince Edward Viaduct.
Officers are continuing to investigate the details behind the deadly crash and ask anyone who has more information to contact the police department directly.
Authorities briefly closed the eastbound directions for the scene clearance process and have reopened it since.
