News: Man in serious condition after fiery Scarborough crash

SCARBOROUGH, ON – A man was left in serious condition after his car caught on fire after plowing into a tree along Woburn Park Monday afternoon. 

EMS crews and police responded to the intersection of Ellesmere Road and Markham Road after 2 p.m., according to Toronto City News Everywhere

The man, a sole occupant, was able to escape his burning vehicle. 

Officials shut down Ellesmere between Markham Road and Scarborough Golf Club Road for the scene clearance process and investigation.
