News: Motorcyclist, 27, killed in Oro-Medonte collision with pickup truck 

ORO-MEDONTE, ON – A 27-year-old male motorcyclist was killed in a collision involving a pickup truck that happened on Highway 11 on Monday.

CTV News said the incident unfolded around 10:30 p.m., when the motorcyclist got involved in a road rage incident with the pickup truck. Both vehicles collided, and the motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Ontario Provincial Police said the pickup truck, a 37-year-old man from Bracebridge, exhibited signs of impairment. Officers arrested him at the scene.

The Bracebridge man faces the following charges: impaired driving causing death, dangerous driving causing death, obstructing a peace officer, failing or refusing to comply with a demand causing death, driving without insurance, driving while suspended, and driving without a current validated permit.
