News: One life claimed in delivery truck vs. big rig wreck in Dundas 

DUNDAS, ON – A delivery truck driver succumbed to fatal injuries after crashing head-on into a big rig on Highway 5 on Monday, CTV News reports.

The delivery truck driver, a 55-year-old man, had drifted from the westbound lanes and into the eastbound lanes before 9:30 a.m. Moments later, he crashed head-on into the big rig and was ejected from his truck. The delivery truck caught on fire, and the driver died shortly after.

Authorities shut down the area for several hours for the scene clearance process.

No other details, including the victim’s name, have been reported. An investigation has begun.
