News: Pedestrian dies after crash with school bus in Upper Beaches 

TORONTO, ON – A 22-year-old woman who was hit by a school bus while walking in the Upper Beaches neighborhood lost her life Saturday.

The collision happened around 4 p.m. last Wednesday, Oct. 9, when the woman was crossing the  Kingston Road and Kingswood Road junction and was struck by the driver pursuing a left turn, Toronto City News reports. Upon arrival, an ambulance rushed the woman to a hospital, where she passed away a few days later.

Police confirmed that the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

The police department started an investigation and do not have additional details at this time, which includes contributing factors behind this wreck or released the woman’s name.
