News: Pedestrian injured in Gerrard St. crash in Toronto 

TORONTO, ON –  A man in his 40s crossing Gerrard Street and Woodbine Avenue sustained minor injuries when he was hit by an oncoming vehicle Tuesday.

This collision happened around 5:10 p.m. along Merrill Bridge Road Park, according to Toronto Police Operations. By 5:17 p.m., crews shut down the intersection, and by 5:34 p.m., ambulance crews confirmed they took the pedestrian to a hospital for treatment.

Police said the driver remained at the scene but did not specify if he would be cited or charged for his involvement in this crash.
