News: Person seriously hurt in pedestrian crash in Scarborough 

SCARBOROUGH, ON – A pedestrian was left in serious condition as a result of a pedestrian crash that happened in the Clairlea area on Monday.

The pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while crossing the intersection of Pharmacy Avenue and Rosita Crescent around 7 a.m., CTV News reports.

EMS crews rushed the pedestrian to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Officials shut down northbound Pharmacy Avenue for the scene clean-up process and overall investigation.

Drivers were asked to seek alternative routes.
