MISSISSAUGA, ON – On Saturday, Feb. 15, Peel Regional Police located the hit-and-run suspect responsible for fatally striking a female pedestrian on Tuesday, Jan. 14.
The crash happened after 11:45 p.m. at the intersection of Bristol Road West and Loon Lake Avenue. EMS crews rushed the unidentified woman to a trauma centre where she passed away. Police said they found the suspect in the area of White Clover Way and Apple Blossom Circle and said the suspect, only identified as “Antonio,” was driving a black 2018 Honda CRV.
Officers did not comment on the kinds of charges the suspect would receive. Anyone with more information about last month’s wreck is advised to contact authorities at the phone number listed in the source.
