News: Significant delays reported after crash on Don Valley Pkwy near Bayview Ave

TORONTO, ON — Authorities responded to a collision on the southbound Don Valley Parkway in Toronto’s Playter Estates area, according to Trafficnet.ca.

The accident happened on a stretch of the parkway past Bayview Avenue and Bloor Street East, near Don Valley Park. It was first reported some time before 7:22 a.m.

Little information has been shared at this time, but the left lane was blocked in the immediate aftermath. At the time of Trafficnet.ca’s report, a heavy traffic backup was already forming from Highway 401.
