News: Single-vehicle crash in Vaughn leaves 4 injured, 2 seriously

TORONTO, ON – Police in Vaughn are working to identify the driver responsible for a crash that left four people injured early Sunday.

According to a Global News report, a white Hyundai Elantra was eastbound on Kirby Road at about 6:15 a.m. when the driver ran the stop sign at the intersection with Pin Valley Drive and crashed into a ditch.

Four passengers were injured, with two later transported to trauma centers for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities are working to determine the driver’s identity and the number of occupants at the time. Anyone who may have additional information or video footage of the crash are urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
