News: Streetcar operator, car driver hospitalized after Toronto head-on crash 

TORONTO, ON – A streetcar operator and a 30-year-old woman were transported to a hospital after a head-on crash that happened south of Toronto Western Hospital.

The head-on crash took place around 7:15 a.m. Tuesday on Bathurst Street, south of Dundas Street, according to Global News.

The 30-year-old woman was left with non-life-threatening injuries. First responders did not specify what physical condition the streetcar operator was left in. However, they did say they were taken to the emergency room for precautionary measures.

Police shut down a portion of Bathurst Street temporarily so crews could clean up the debris from the collision.

The contributing factors leading to the collision are unclear at this time.
