NORTH YORK, ON – Toronto police are investigating the details behind a multi-vehicle crash that sent two men and two women to a hospital Friday.
Police told CTV News that eight vehicles collided at the intersection of Jane Street and Trethewey Drive after 6 p.m. One of the drivers involved had fled the scene on foot.
Paramedics rushed to the scene and took the four individuals, a woman and man in their 30s, and a man and woman in their 50s, to the emergency room for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities shut down the intersection for several hours and have since reopened it.
