MISSISSAUGA, ON — Two men suffered serious injuries early Friday due to a single-vehicle collision in Mississauga that left three others hurt, according to Global News.
The accident unfolded at about 2:00 a.m. on Southdown Road, south of Bromsgrove Road.
Very few details have been made available, but Peel Regional Police indicated that a vehicle carrying at least five people collided with a pole.
Two men who suffered critical injuries were rushed to a local trauma centre.
Paramedics transported two other male patients to an area hospital for minor injuries, and one other man was assessed at the scene but ultimately refused transport from the scene.
Part of Southdown Road between Lakeshore Road and Bromsgrove Road was blocked during the response and investigation, which remains underway.
