News: Woman, 27, hospitalized after single-vehicle collision in Etobicoke 

ETOBICOKE, ON – A 27-year-old woman was hospitalized after a single-vehicle collision that happened on Highway 427 on Saturday.

Ontario Provincial Police told CTV News that the crash occurred around 4 a.m. near Rathburn Road. The 27-year-old woman was driving south on the express lanes and lost control of her vehicle, crashing into a guardrail.

EMS crews rushed to the scene and transported the woman to a hospital for treatment of serious, life-threatening injuries. Her condition improved a little bit, and she is now recovering from less serious, life-altering injuries.

Officials said they shut down the express lanes and lifted all closures by 1:30 p.m.
