BRAMPTON, ON – A woman was left with critical, life-threatening injuries as a result of a pedestrian crash that happened in Brampton Wednesday.
The woman was struck by a vehicle while crossing the intersection of Bovaird Drive and Bramalea Road just before 7:00 a.m., Toronto City News reports.
EMS crews rushed the woman to the hospital for treatment.
Peel Regional police shut down the area for an extended period to accommodate the scene clean up process.
Police are actively working to determine the events that led to the collision.
