News: Woman hurt in pedestrian crash near Toronto’s Bell Manor Park

TORONTO, ON – A 20-year-old woman was left in serious condition as a result of a pedestrian crash that happened along Bell Manor Park last Saturday, July 5.

The woman was struck by a vehicle after 10:30 p.m. while crossing the intersection of Park Lawn Road and Berry Road, according to Toronto Police Operations.

Toronto Medics were also summoned to the scene and deemed the woman’s injuries life-threatening.

Officials had to shut down Park Lawn between Berry Road and Keywell Court for the scene clean-up process, but later reopened it. During the closures, drivers were asked to consider alternative routes.

It’s unclear if the driver will face charges. Updates will be added after our team learns more.
