News: Woman in her 70s hospitalized after pedestrian crash in North York 

NORTH YORK, ON – A woman in her 70s was hospitalized after a pedestrian crash in North York around 11:30 a.m. on Monday, CP24 reports.

The woman was struck while crossing the intersection of Bayview Avenue and Cummer Avenue. Ambulance personnel were dispatched to the scene and rushed her to a trauma centre for treatment.

The driver stayed at the scene, police confirmed.

No pending charges appeared to have been filed against the driver at this time.

Closures were enforced to accommodate the scene clean-up process and overall investigation.
