News: Woman in serious condition after bicycle crash in Scarborough 

SCARBOROUGH, ON – A 70-year-old woman was left in serious condition after a bicycle crash that happened in the Clarks Corners neighbourhood Wednesday.

The 70-year-old woman, a cyclist, was struck by a vehicle while crossing the intersection of Huntingwood Drive and Kennedy Road, according to Toronto City News. The collision happened around 9 a.m. and warranted a quick response from Toronto police and EMS crews.

After arriving, ambulance personnel transported the woman to a hospital for treatment of serious, non-life-threatening injuries. Police and transportation crews stayed behind and shut down Kennedy Road between Norcap Avenue and Huntingwood Drive for the clean-up process and investigation.

Authorities have reopened the roads. Police are continuing to investigate the details behind the crash.
