News: Woman Killed in Midtown Hit-and-Run Involving Two Vehicles

TORONTO, ON – An 80-year-old woman was killed in a hit-and-run involving two vehicles outside a grocery store in Midtown on Wednesday morning, the Toronto Star reports.

According to authorities, the accident occurred near the intersection of Eglinton Avenue East and Dunfield Avenue just after 7:15 am.

The victim was crossing Eglinton Avenue when an eastbound vehicle struck her. She was then struck by another vehicle headed westbound. Both drivers fled.

Police are searching for a white Hyundai SUV. Police do not currently have a description of the second vehicle.
