News: 3, including police officer, hurt in collision in Etobicoke

ETOBICOKE, ON – A police officer, a 19-year-old adult, and a 16-year-old teenager were injured in a collision that happened in the Clairville and Jamestown area on Tuesday.

The crash happened around 10:15 a.m. in the vicinity of Albion Road and Kipling Avenue, according to CTV News.

Police said one driver, the 19-year-old adult, suffered serious injuries, while their passenger, the teenager, and the police officer sustained minor injuries.

Out of the three, EMS only transported the 19-year-old to a hospital for treatment.

Police closed the area, and closures are still in effect, so drivers are urged to avoid the area and seek any alternative routes.

Police do not believe the crash was in connection with a pursuit and are working to determine the specifics of what led to the collision.

Additional information, which includes reports of citations and charges, will be added after we learn more.
