News: 2 injured in two-truck collision along Alex Marchetti Park in Etobicoke 

ETOBICOKE, ON – Two people were injured as a result of a two-truck collision that occurred along Alex Marchetti Park on Tuesday, CTV News reports.

The crash was between a trash truck and a flatbed truck and happened around 4 a.m. in the area of Islington Avenue and Dixon Road.

Police have not specified the events leading to the crash, but said the impact left one person with serious, life-threatening injuries and another with minor injuries.

The seriously injured person, a male, was sent to a trauma centre, and the one with minor injuries was taken to a hospital.
