News: 2 injured in multi-vehicle collision in Port Perry 

PORT PERRY, ON – Two people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened outside the Port Perry Baptist Church on Tuesday, CTV News reports.

The crash, between three vehicles, happened at the intersection of Highway 7A and Island Road.

Police responded to the scene around 7 a.m. and arrived to find two significantly damaged cars.

First responders confirmed two people were hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are working to determine the events leading to the collision and have not said whether they cited anyone or if anyone could be charged for their involvement in the crash.
