News: Man in his 20s killed in motorcycle-SUV collision in Scarborough 

SCARBOROUGH, ON – A man in his 20s was killed in a motorcycle-SUV collision in Scarborough on Tuesday, CTV News said.

Police said the incident happened after 2 p.m. at the intersection of Bertrand Avenue and Crockford Boulevard.

Police said a 44-year-old woman was driving a grey Subaru SUV and traveling on southbound Crockford Boulevard when she turned left on Bertrand Avenue and crashed into a black motorcycle going west on Bertrand.

Subsequently, the motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, died from his injuries.

Police confirmed the female driver stayed at the scene, but have not specified whether they cited her or if she could face criminal charges.

Officials closed Bertrand Avenue between Warden Avenue and Thermos Road for the on-scene clean-up process and overall investigation. During these closures, drivers were asked to seek alternative routes.
