News: 1 dead, 1 hospitalized following multi-vehicle crash in Scarborough 

SCARBOROUGH, ON – One person died, and another was hospitalized following a multi-vehicle crash that took place in Scarborough on Monday.

The crash occurred in the Malvern neighbourhood in the area of Markham Road and Nugget Avenue, according to CTV News. Preliminary details reveal that a driver of a green Ford Fusion was about to turn left onto a private driveway and crashed into a black Honda motorcycle, and then a black Dodge Hornet.

EMS personnel rushed the motorcyclist, a 42-year-old man, and the Ford driver, a 53-year-old woman, to a hospital. The motorcyclist, who was initially in critical condition, succumbed to his injuries, and the female driver received treatment for minor injuries.

The Dodge Hornet driver, a 25-year-old man, was uninjured.
