News: 1 hurt, another critical condition after 3-auto crash in King  

KING, ON – One person was left in critical condition, and another was seriously injured in a three-vehicle wreck on Highway 9 Tuesday, Toronto City News said.

Ontario Provincial Police were summoned to the area before 7:30 a.m. and revealed the events unfolded when one driver had collided with a second vehicle going west, leading the struck automobile to drift across the highway’s centre lanes and into the eastbound lanes, ending in a head-on wreck with the third vehicle. As a result, the two occupants from the third and second vehicles were injured.

Officers had to shut down Highway 9 from Weston Road to Holacin Road to accommodate the scene clearance and investigation process until 2 p.m.

No criminal charges were filed at the time of the reporting.
