BRAMPTON, ON – One person was critically injured as a result of a vehicle-pedestrian crash that took place outside Riverstone Community Centre on Tuesday.
A person was walking in the area of Queen Street East between Cherrycrest Drive and Beaumaris Drive when they were struck by a vehicle, CTV News said.
The pedestrian sustained critical injuries and was sent to a trauma centre.
Police confirmed the driver stayed at the scene, and have not announced any charges for them.
Officials shut down Queen Street East between Cherrycrest and Beaumaris Drives to accommodate the on-scene clean-up process and investigation.
