SCARBOROUGH, ON – Two people were injured as a result of an e-scooter and SUV collision that took place outside of Scarborough Health Network on Tuesday.
The e-scooter and SUV collided around 9:30 p.m. in the area of McCowan Road near Lawrence Avenue, CTV News reports.
The SUV was left with serious damage to the driver’s and rear passenger doors, which included damage to the SUV’s left side mirror. One person suffered serious, life-threatening injuries, while another sustained minor injuries.
The seriously injured person was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Police did not specify the cause of the crash or whether anyone would face any charges.
