SCARBOROUGH, ON – Two women had to go to the hospital after a two-motorcycle crash in Scarborough on Sunday, Toronto City News reports.
The collision happened before 3:30 p.m. in the area of Military Trail Road and Ellesmere Road. One motorcyclist had gotten into a single-vehicle crash. Another motorcyclist, who was approaching, saw the collision and did her best to avoid striking the disabled motorcycle. Despite her best attempts, she could not avoid a crash, resulting in the double motorcycle crash.
The two motorcyclists were ejected from their bikes. EMS crews transported the two female motorcyclists, in their 20s, to a hospital. One woman is recovering from serious injuries, and the other one from non-life-threatening injuries.
