News: 3 hospitalized after collision involving SUV in North York

NORTH YORK, ON – Three people were sent to the hospital after a collision involving an SUV on Monday, Toronto City News reports.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Caledonia Road and Glengrove Avenue West. This is where an SUV struck three people: a woman in her 30s, a man in his 20s, and a baby. Preliminary details suggest the three were using a crosswalk when they were hit by the SUV.

Local police are in the preliminary stages of the investigation, but suspect distracted driving as a contributing factor.

The woman in her 30s, the man in his 20s, and the infant are recovering from serious injuries. First responders said they evaluated a fourth person for minor injuries, but did not say if they needed to go to a hospital.
