News: 3 hospitalized following three-vehicle crash at Toronto’s Hwy. 400, 401 

TORONTO, ON – Three people were brought to the hospital following a three-vehicle crash at the Highway 400 and 401 interchange on Thursday.

Ontario Provincial Police told Global News that the multi-vehicle collision happened at 3 a.m. near the southbound Highway 400 off-ramp connecting to Highway 401.

The impact of the collision left one person with serious, non-life-threatening injuries, and two others with minor injuries. EMS transported all three to a hospital for treatment.

Police closed the northbound and southbound ramps connecting to Highway 401 East and four lanes of traffic on southbound 400 for several hours before reopening the ramps at 9 a.m.

No citations appeared to have been issued, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
