News: 3 hurt, male motorcyclist dies in 5-auto wreck in Mississauga  

MISSISSAUGA, ON – A male motorcyclist passed away, and three people sustained minor wounds in a five-vehicle collision on Highway 401 West Sunday. 

Local police told Toronto CTV News this multi-auto wreck happened before 1:30 a.m. west of Dixie Road and East of 403/410. 

Peel EMS, who was also summoned to the scene (around 12:50 a.m.), said the man on the motorcyclist was summoned to fatal wounds on sight, and the three who suffered minor wounds were treated on site. 

First responders closed the westbound express lanes along Dixie for many hours for the scene clearance and investigation process and have reopened all lanes since. 

No additional details, including the motorcyclist’s name, have been released.
