News: 5 hospitalized after multi-vehicle crash in North York 

NORTH YORK, ON – Five people were transported to the hospital following a multi-vehicle crash outside Upwood Greenbelt on Monday.

CTV News reported the crash after 6:30 a.m., saying the crash occurred off the intersection of Black Creek Drive and Lawrence Avenue West. Video footage showed a black car with significant damage, blocking the road.

First responders rushed five people to the emergency room. Two people were left in critical condition, and three others were in stable condition.

Local police have not specified the events leading up to the crash and have not announced any citations at this time.
