News: Accident closes two lanes on Hwy 401 EB Express in North York

NORTH YORK, ON — Authorities were alerted to a crash Wednesday afternoon on Ontario Highway 401 in east North York, according to Trafficnet.ca.

The accident happened on the eastbound express lanes east of Highway 404 and Don Valley Parkway. It was first reported shortly before 12:52 a.m.

Few details have been made available at this time, but the two left lanes were blocked in the immediate aftermath.

Footage captured at the scene suggests as many as three vehicles, including a Penske truck, were involved.
