News: At least 1 airlifted to hospital after Newmarket multi-auto wreck

NEWMARKET, ON – At least one person was airlifted to a hospital after a multi-vehicle wreck that included a trash truck south of Pheasant Run Golf Club Monday.

This crash happened in the area of Davis Drive and Warden Avenue, according to Toronto City News

York Police and an ORNGE medical helicopter were at the scene, rendering aid to the affected parties and pursuing their investigation. Due to the severity of this wreck, officials were left with no choice but to shut down Davis Road between Warden and Kennedy Road.

Authorities have not stated the exact cause of this crash or stated the occupants’ physical conditions at this time.
