News: Baby, woman left seriously hurt after pedestrian crash in Toronto’s Davisville Village

TORONTO, ON – Two people, including a baby, were hospitalized with serious injuries Thursday morning, May 2, after being hit by a vehicle near June Rowlands Park in Toronto, reports Global News.

Toronto Police and emergency crews responded to the scene near Mount Pleasant Road and Davisville Avenue, in the city’s Davisville Village neighborhood, at about 8:45 a.m.

While the events leading up to the crash have not been specified publicly, paramedics confirmed that a woman and a bay were rushed to two separate trauma centers. The child’s injuries have been reported as serious but non-life-threatening, while the condition of the woman remains unclear.

No information about the involved driver and their vehicle has been shared, but they stayed at the scene following the incident.

Officials had a stretch of Davisville Avenue blocked following the accident.
