News: Driver hurt, passenger critically in rear-end crash near Oshawa 

NEAR OSHAWA, ON – A driver of a car was injured, the passenger critically, after rear-ending a transport truck on Highway 401 Sunday. 

This crash happened before 3:30 a.m. near Courtice Road, according to Toronto City News. Provincial police said the car driver was recovering from minor wounds and sent to a nearby hospital, while the car passenger was to a trauma center, and the truck driver was unharmed.

Police shut down westbound Highway 401 for several hours between Courtice Road and Harmony Road and reopened the area before 11 a.m.
