News: Fatal semi-truck accident shuts down Hwy. 401 near Woodstock

WOODSTOCK, ON – At least one person was killed in a trucking accident south of Woodstock early Tuesday.

According to CTV News, the crash occurred at about 3 a.m. in the westbound lanes of Highway 401, between Norwich Avenue and Mill Street.

Very few details concerning the crash are available at this time. Photos from the scene show a single tractor-trailer with serious front end damage crashed through a guard rail on the right side of the highway.

The identities of those involved are unclear at this time. However, the investigation remains underway.
