News: Hit-and-run in Mississauga sends elderly man to trauma centre 

MISSISSAUGA, ON – An 80-year-old man crossing the middle of Creditview Road, had to go to a trauma centre after he was struck by a driver who fled the scene Friday.

This collision happened before 5:30 p.m. south of Eglinton Avenue West, according to Peel Regional Police. Upon arrival, the first responders transported the pedestrian to the medical facility, where he is currently recovering from serious wounds.

Police believe the suspect was operating an SUV and say that the fleeing driver was a white man between the ages of 60 and 70.
