News: Male motorcyclist loses life in head-on crash in East York 

EAST YORK, ON – A male motorcyclist lost his life to a head-on crash in East York on Tuesday, CTVNews reports. 

The incident unfolded after midnight when the male motorcyclist, riding a 2025 red Ducati motorcycle, was going south on Bayview Avenue and drifted out of his lane, and then crashed head-on into a 2025 black Honda CRV. 

The motorcyclist, a 37-year-old unidentified man, succumbed to his injuries. 

No injuries were reported for the driver. 

Police shut down Bayview Avenue in both directions near Pottery Road for many hours before reopening all lanes before 7 a.m.
