News: Male pedestrian hospitalized after hit-and-run in Scarborough

SCARBOROUGH, ON – A male pedestrian was hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash that happened in Scarborough on Thursday, CTV News said.

The pedestrian was struck by a vehicle around 5 p.m. in the area of Lawrence Avenue East and Scarborough Golf Club Road. The pedestrian sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the emergency room.

The driver of the vehicle reportedly fled the scene prior to the police’s arrival, but was later found. Police have not confirmed whether they would face any charges.
