News: Man, 44, seriously hurt in hit-and-run in Hamilton 

HAMILTON, ON – A 44-year-old man was seriously hurt in a hit-and-run crash that happened last Wednesday, Feb. 18, in Hamilton, CTV News reports.

The incident unfolded when a Jeep SUV driver reportedly ran a red light and crashed into the 44-year-old man crossing the intersection of Rymal Road and Upper Wellington Street.

The driver stopped momentarily and continued driving without calling 911 or rendering aid to the victim.

First responders rushed the male pedestrian to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Hamilton Police launched a full investigation and have not released any other details at this time.
